Students in Animal Sciences 221 this semester will have the opportunity to complete a single common nutrient analysis of an animal diet which will then be combined with information from other students analyzing different nutrients and diets. The results to date for each diet are summarized in the nutrient composition and value table below. This activity is meant to stimulate interest in the course, to provide context for topics covered in lecture and discussion, and to promote teamwork and the integration of course material while minimizing the work required of any individual.
